Century Link Fundraiser A Huge Opportunity For NNEMAP

Each year the Century Link Campaign To Fight Hunger offers an online donation site for 150 food banks and pantries across the country. We are lucky to be one of them. The dates of this year’s campaign are June 4-15. You can donate online through www.centurylink.com/fooddrive.

The significance of this fundraising opportunity is that the match from is planned to be 75% or more! That means for every $1,000 donated, we will also get at least $750!

Volunteers Needed

We have a great relationship with OSU and get lots of volunteers. But when school is out, we feel their loss. We especially need Saturday volunteers from 10:45 until 1:15. We could also use Friday volunteers from 8:30am until 12:15. Contact Sean Becker at sean@nnemappantry.org! It’s fun!

 Ohio State Fair Parking

Each year we park cars at NNEMAP for the Ohio State Fair. This year the fair is from Wednesday, July 25 through Sunday, August 5th. We depend on churches and organizations to adopt a day to cover the shifts. A shift requires 3 people from 8 am until noon, 3 from noon to 4pm, and 2 from 4 until 8pm. Please let us know if you can put together a team. Remember, we don’t really park cars, we simply direct them where to park. We provide shade, snacks, a bathroom, and lots of activity to make the time go quickly. We have three days selected already. Contact us at info@nnemappantry.org.
